Quotes of the week

Germany coach Joachim Low admits his side fears Wayne Rooney ahead of the last 16 clash with England on Sunday.
Germany set up a meeting with old foes England in Bloemfontein on Sunday with a narrow 1-0 win over Ghana to secure top spot in Group D.
Rooney has so far failed to shine in South Africa, but Low is wary of the threat posed by the Manchester United hit-man fearing he could "explode" into form when they lock horns this weekend.
"Rooney may not have been a big gun so far but he is always ready to explode, he is difficult to mark and control so our defence will need to watch that he doesn't score," said Low.
Low is relishing the meeting with England and he is not reading too much into their faltering performances in the group stages.

Special

"We are looking forward to taking on England, it's always special for us," added Low. "There is a great history in the World Cup between England and Germany.
"I've watched England's matches so far, they were struggling in the first two matches but that is quite normal, sometimes you only pick up speed as you go through the tournament.
"They haven't shown the best of form so far but make no mistake, this is a wonderful team. England have enormous experience so this team is going to be incredibly dangerous."
